A common misconception is that burlesque is a striptease.
Although it does involve removing clothing, the routines never actually include nudity,
the whole point is nothing is ever revealed.

18+ open class so all abilities welcome.
Something a little different to boost your body confidence and also get fitter in the process.
These may consist of heels, costumes/props and or floorwork.

Hello I'm Rose aka Rhapsody Rose.
I love to dance it's my passion, I have a background in Aerial fitness, Belly dance, Ballet, Contemporary, Heels workshop and Choreography.
Dance is great for your physical and mental health, it will build your confidence, make you feel sexy and bring out your sassy goddess.
Please don't think "I'm too big or too uncoordinated to do these classes", we go at a steady pace and don't move on until everyone is happy.
In my aerial classes we have all shapes and sizes, they can hang upside-down and look amazing so I'm sure you can dance on a chair 😊
Burlesque will melt your troubles away in an instant.
Just breath and let the dance take over, you will feel a real sense of community, sisterhood and you will make wonderful friends and memories.
I'm beginner friendly and there's no specific body type required to participate, our classes are designed to build strength, flexibility and confidence, regardless of your shape or size.
So come along and give it ago, I'm sure you'll be hooked.

This is Persephone aka Charlie.
She is my Second in command 😉
She loves to dance, sing and act.
You will find in class she will sing the lyrics of the song we are dancing to, to help you learn the moves by the lyric or beat.
She loves a routine with floorwork or dynamic moves to help give variety to our routines for all abilities.
When we are using props you will find her giddy with excitement (and not just because she "accidently" throws them at me) but because she knows you will love the routine because the prop gives you even more 'power' to attract the eye.
Like myself she strives to help all our members increase their body confidence and make friends.
We are approachable for all reasons not just dance fitness, we are also here to help your mental health wither that be a need to vent or tell someone your worries, we are here to listen and never judge.
In future if there is more demand we may hold workshops for heels, whips and other props.
